SKY TRAILS is a new construction and action system! It lets you build your own zip line course - with curves, wild descents, lifts, and much more. All elements are plug-in, modular, and can be rebuilt at any time - just the way you want. There are no limits to your creativity!

Absolutely – that’s the whole idea of Sky Trails! Make it long, twisty, wide, or tall. You’re the designer. The flexibility is what makes it fun.

In addition to a stable setup, two things are especially important:

(1) Alignment: The start and end sections should be positioned directly above each other. If the parts are twisted and not aligned, the Sky Rider may get stuck or fail to reach the upper track.

(2) Cable tension: If the spool doesn’t provide enough pulling force and the transport sled can’t lift the Sky Rider completely, adjust the cable tension:

  • Move the transparent bead on the cable about 10 cm toward the spool and secure it with a new knot that you place underneath.
  • If the tension is still too low, adjust the knot again until there is enough pulling force.
  • Make sure the rest of the cable doesn’t block the ride. Wrap it around the white transport sled if necessary.

Yes! Very soon, you'll find new building ideas, videos, and competitions regularly on our website and on YouTube. Get inspired!

Use enough feet as your base and connect them with rods. Build triangles for stability. As you go higher, add cross-braces and screw clamps. You can even use foot stands on top for extra hold. Don’t forget the grey stoppers inside the clips!

The Air Lift works purely mechanically – no electricity needed – and can be activated with a simple hand movement. For smooth operation, the track must be straight and stable. Once the Sky Rider enters the sled, it is automatically lifted upward.

At the moment, it's not possible to buy individual parts such as single rails.

Make sure the white barrier at the bottom of the lift is in place before the Sky Rider enters. Also check that the belt is correctly inserted into the lift carriage - it only works reliably that way

Check that the little grey rubber stopper is inside the clip! Without it, the clip won’t grip. You’ll find a visual for this in the instructions.

SKY TRAILS is designed for indoor use. If you build outdoors, make sure it's dry and that you don't lose any parts. On the balcony or in the garden on a nice day, it works too.

Yes – they’re super versatile! You can also place them on top of rods, then connect again. That way you secure your build from above and below.

Stability: Make sure the Air Lift is firmly built into your track and not standing freely. Use our stability tips and add crossbars for extra support.

Stickers: Check that the stickers are correctly applied (see the building instructions) so the transport sled can move smoothly upward.

The Air Lift is explained in detail in the instructions. It works mechanically - no electricity needed - and can be activated with one simple move. To ensure the Sky Rider works smoothly, everything must be set up straight and stable. Then the rider slides onto the lift and is automatically carried upwards.

Of course! You can build your SKY TRAILS around a knight's castle, a pirate ship, or other PLAYMOBIL worlds. Important: you always need a figure with a slider to ride.

You need the Starter Kit first (Item No. 71969). It contains the most important parts so you can start building right away - such as rails, connectors, and the Sky Rider. After that, you can expand your set with many exciting extensions and action elements.

They’re your best friend for tall tracks! Only attach them to sturdy furniture like tables or fixed cupboards – never loose or wobbly surfaces.

Make sure the two track sections overlap. Adjust the spring tension if necessary.

Cross-braces are white rods that link two vertical rods. They add strength. The higher you build, the more important they become. Just make sure they’re straight, not slanted.

The SKY TRAILS needs momentum. Make sure the track leading into the loop is as straight and steep as possible.

Connect three foot stands in a triangle with rods. This shape locks your structure, making it super stable. Pros always build with triangles!

  • Is the arrow properly inserted?
  • Is the target standing upright?

Make sure there's enough speed on approach - not too flat! If the arrow hits the target in the upper area, it tips backward and clears the track. If needed, lower the target slightly so the arrow hits higher.

Always build on a smooth, hard surface. For extra strength, place three feet in a triangle and connect them with white rods – that’s the triangle shape. Add cross-braces between tall parts. Keep rods straight (horizontal to the floor). Use screw clamps for extra hold, especially on taller builds.

You’ll find great examples in the Starter Kit instructions.

Check whether the small gray silicone piece is inserted in the clip. You'll find an illustration in the instructions.

Please don't! Doing so may bend the wheels. Place the Sky Rider at the beginning of the track and let it run through completely. You can easily remove it at the end.

They need to stand flat and stable – avoid soft carpets. Flip the foot stand over: inside, you’ll see a small ring. The white rod should touch that ring, not float above it or sit too deep. There’s a picture of this in the manual.

The stands should stand firmly and evenly on the floor. Take a close look at the white rods: they must rest against the intended edge in the base. If you turn the stand over, you'll see a ring inside - the rods must fit snugly against it. The instructions include a picture to guide you.

A little movement is totally normal – Sky Trails is flexible! But if it wobbles too much or triggers things like the Air Lift on its own, double-check this: Are the pipes pushed all the way into the foot stand (right up to the small inner ring)? Is everything clicked together properly? Have you used the white rods to build straight cross-braces and triangle shapes? Are the grey grip pads in the right spots? Are your feet standing flat and firm? Follow these tips and your track will stay sturdy – without losing its bounce.

That's entirely up to you! You decide whether to build more vertically or horizontally. With the screw clamp, you can attach the track to tables, shelves, or window sills. This way, you can create exciting tracks in all sorts of places. With expansion sets and action elements, you can keep expanding endlessly.

With the connector adapters, you can build long tracks. After five connected rails, we recommend supporting the track with a pillar - otherwise it may sag and the Sky Rider could lose speed.

SKY TRAILS is super flexible! You can start small - for example, on a table or on the floor - or build really big if you have more space. The Connection and Construction Sets provide additional rails and connectors so you can keep expanding your track. It gets especially exciting when you connect different pieces of furniture or even whole rooms - from the floor to the desk and all the way up to the shelf!

Don't worry, even pros experience this!

  • Is your track too steep or too flat?
  • Are all elements firmly connected?
  • Are the tubes properly inserted into the stands?
  • Do you maybe need extra connections for more stability?

Just try again - or rebuild. That's part of the fun!

Sometimes you just need to press the pieces together a little more firmly.

If it still wobbles:

Check if all parts are properly assembled (see the instructions). White connector tubes provide extra stability at tricky spots.

The setup of the stands is especially important so your Sky Trails don't wobble. The instructions show how to insert the white tubes correctly and how to position the stands optimally.
